Calling ALL beginner Cuttlebug Users!

Welcome to the Cuttlebug Blog. We are excited you have stopped by to visit. So relax, kick off your shoes and enjoy your stay here. We have decided to dedicate this site to beginners! (Seasoned Veterans welcome too!) As I am a beginner Cuttlebug'er I have looked around other blogs and get kind of discouraged by all the very advanced (and fabulous) designs. So I thought to myself, beginners need a place to feel welcome, make mistakes (as I am sure I will ;) and grow with creativity! So lets join together and Create, Inspire , Teach, Grow!

Some more Stars and Stripes Inspiration for You!

Hello Crafty Cuttlebug Friends! Lynne here--I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July...enjoying some picnics and maybe some fireworks!! Did you do anything crafty?? I sure hope so!

Today I want to share with you a couple photos of a card that our talented DT member, Donna, made!
RECIPE: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder=Allegro/ Cuttlebug Die 2x2= Circle Frames/ patterned paper= Doodlebug ( Sew American Stripe & Yankee Doodles)/ velvet paper= Doodlebug ( Crushed Velvet Blue Jean)/ red brads= Doodlebug ( Lady Bug).
TECHNIQUE: I ran the red cardstock through my Cuttlebug using the Allegro folder, then sanded the paper. I used the same red paper to cut the circles using the Circle Frames Die. I cut the stars out of the velvet paper by hand and layered them with smaller stars, circles and brads.

Don't forget to upload your Stars and Stripes-Use some Bling projects!! One lucky person will win a great goodie package donated by our wonderful sponser, http://www.crazyscraps.com

Also, Crazy Scraps is holding a DT call!! Go to their blog to check it out!!
Until next time.....
