Calling ALL beginner Cuttlebug Users!

Welcome to the Cuttlebug Blog. We are excited you have stopped by to visit. So relax, kick off your shoes and enjoy your stay here. We have decided to dedicate this site to beginners! (Seasoned Veterans welcome too!) As I am a beginner Cuttlebug'er I have looked around other blogs and get kind of discouraged by all the very advanced (and fabulous) designs. So I thought to myself, beginners need a place to feel welcome, make mistakes (as I am sure I will ;) and grow with creativity! So lets join together and Create, Inspire , Teach, Grow!

Suzann
Technique: I embossed paper flowers with Swiss Dots folder & I embossed the clear "U" with Swiss Dots folder. Technique: I embossed white Bazzill cardstock, then rubbed my ink pad over the raised dots to create a inked effect I also applied ink to the outer portion of the card.
Recipe: D'vine Swirls & Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folders, Bazzill White Cardstock, Wasabi Stampin Up ink, Mambi Green Bling, Lil' Davis "u" glitter clear alpha, Lime green prima flowers, creative imaginations printed paper, autumn leaves swirl stamp & close to my heart chocolate alphabet stamp set.
Donna
Recipe: Cuttlebug embossing folder=Tiny Bubbles/ Cuttlebug die=Scallop Flower (trees)/ stamp=Hero Arts (sentiment)/ patterned paper=K & Company/ cardstock=SU! Certainly Celery
Technique: I embossed paper with a white core & then sanded it lightly to create the white dots.

"Friends 4 ever" I used DCWV embossed paper, and various other patterned papers. All three critters were cut out and paper pieced together. I embossed the turtle shell with diamonds in the rough , the turtle body was embossed with spots & dots, and the bee wings were embossed with d'vine swirls. I also used color bok olive ink and QQ-green w/envy ink pad. The lettering was cut from Hippie Chick die set, and the paper flowers are from Making Memories.
Lynne
I bought this little wooden "purse/bag" from Michael's for a dollar!! I painted it and added some gold glimmer mist (I wasn't sure how it would be on wood but it is okay)..I used my scribble flower cuttlebug die to cut my flower.. the inside layer is some flocked paper and then the outside is just white card stock. I used some rik rac to make the "stems"...I think this would be a great way to give a gift to someone.. instead of the traditional gift bag..
